All funeral directors are legally required to publish this price list for a standard set of products and services. This is to help you through your options and so you can compare with other funeral directors, as prices can vary. Prices are correct at the time of going to print.
Traditional Funeral (funeral directors charges only) £1499.00
This is a funeral service where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased at the same time they attend their burial or cremation. Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.
Collecting Deceased
£200.00-£300.00
Collecting and transporting the deceased from the place of death, into the funeral director's care. This is normally within 20 miles of the offices in Bexhill.
Care of Deceased
£120.00
Care of the deceased before the funeral in appropriate facilities.
Our mortuary facilities are based at our offices in Little Common.
Providing a suitable coffin
£495.00
These traditional coffins are made from wood effect veneer.
Caskets and solid coffin options are available and priced on request.
Viewing of the Deceased
Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends by permission of the next of kin, is free and included in the funeral fee. There is a charge for weekend viewing that takes place.

Hearse and Limousine

Hearse: £485.00
To provide traditional transport of the deceased to the ceremony venue for the funeral (normally within 20 miles of Bexhill) and provide a limousine for the family of the deceased to take to the service venue (normally with 20 miles of Bexhill). Each vehicle comes with a fully trained chauffeur who will also carry deceased into the service. Other vehicles required and different modes of transport can be quoted upon request.
Direct Funerals
This is a funeral where family members do not attend the burial or cremation of the deceased and will be carried out using our silver Mercedes Hearse.
Burial service not including a traditional hearse: £1,999.00
Cremation service not including a traditional hearse or coffin: £1,599.00
Fees that you must pay
For an attended cremation service within the local area of a local resident can vary depending on location of the crematorium Eastbourne and Hastings and Wealden all vary on price. Prices are correct at the time of going to print.

For a new grave you will also have to purchase the plot before the burial and these prices change depending on burial site and location. For an existing grave with a memorial in place, you will need to pay a removal or replacement fee.
In addition, the cemetery may charge several other fees. This can be calculated during the arrangement interview with the funeral director.
Additional Funeral Directors products and services
The funeral director will be able to supply a range of optional additional products and services or to arrange on your behalf a third party to supply them.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what you would like supplied. These will come at an additional charge, so you may want to take care of some of the arrangements yourself. Or you can use a different supplier for other items or services.
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland you will usually need to pay a doctor's fee. This is for the signing of the Medical Certificate for Cremation.
On an arrangement for a funeral service the fees known as Disbursements are required unless otherwise agreed prior to the arrangement. These include Doctors fees, Officiant fees, and the Burial and Cremation fees. The funeral service charge fees are due within seven days of the funeral service, unless otherwise agreed prior to the funeral
